Hello PDP supporters, don’t get too scared by the headline.
Whenever a foreign head of state visits Nigeria ever since Muhammadu Buhari won the election, the visitor stops by at the Presidential villa first to see the president, and then to the Defence House to see the President-elect.
During those visits to Buhari, the visiting President is accompanied by a Federal minister, usually Ambassador Wali, the minister of foreign affairs.
Today, when the President of Niger Republic, Issoufou Muhammadu, came calling, it was the junior minister of foreign affairs, Musiliu Obanikoro, who accompanied him. That explains Obanikoro’s presence… No big deal, we just wanted to scare you a bit.
