Dino Melaya to Know Faith Today as ABU-Zaria Clear the Air Today

The Senate, on Tuesday, decided to investigate the allegation that an armoured Range Rover car said to worth N298m and seized by the Nigeria Customs Service belongs to the President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki.

The move was based on a point of order raised by former Majority Leader of the Senate, Ali Ndume, who also called on the upper chamber of the National Assembly to investigate the allegation that Senator Dino Melaye did not complete his first degree in Geography at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Also, the ABU management said it would issue a statement on Melaye’s academic status on Wednesday (today).

Man Behead an Innocent Woman for Ritual in Badagry.

LAGOS—A 61-year-old landlord, Toafeek Hassan, was, yesterday, arrested with fresh human head and other body parts of a lady he was alleged to have murdered, at Ikoga community in Badagry area of Lagos, Sunday. Nasarawa Governor's Son Arrested for Killing a Student

Khaleed Umar Al-Makura, son of Nasarawa state governor, Umar Al-Makura, has been arrested for killing a student of Government Secondary School, Lafia.

The victim, Ovye Amos, died on Sunday night after he was hit by the governor’s son with a car.

NAN reports that students of the school protested his death, carrying placards with various inscriptions demanding justice for Amos, a junior secondary school two student.

While Senate is investigating Saraki over claims that he allegedly used his office to seek revenge against Nigeria Customs Service boos Hameed Ali, Melaye is being investigated over claims that he may have forged his certificate with which he ran for the legislative seat.
